| Comment | 2016 remastered reissue of Brad Fiedel's The Terminator. Note on sound quality of this release added by another user: The tonal balance of Milan's remastered Terminator score is muddy, with rolled off high frequencies. It appears that this is partly due to excessive noise reduction. The previous "Definite Edition" CD of The Terminator has better dynamics and crisp, clear high frequencies, but in places its mix strays much too far from what's heard in the film itself. Some tracks on the "Definite Edition" also suffer from occasional clicks. So it's a different trade off, meaning there's no truly definitive edition of this classic electronic score. |
